The Canare TecNec 15' XLR Microphone Cable is made with Canare star quad cable and black and gold Neutrik connectors. The quad cable is constructed of four conductors in pairs of two arranged in an X configuration. This design makes it capable of resisting induced noise from SCR dimmers and fluorescent lights while a braided high density shield blocks electrostatic noise reducing hum, buzz and radio interference.
The frequency response of the Canare TecNec microphone cable is preserved by polyethylene insulation and handling noise is reduced by using a cotton filter. Also, the cable is very flexible due to a large number of thin wire strands and a PVC jacket that remains pliant in low temperatures down to -56deg. F.
