About this item

ProMediaGear PND800 Plate is custom made specifically for the Nikon D800 body (without optional grip/battery pack). Because it is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape. It also provides anti-rotation so that the plate won't slip or twist. Most of the users leave it on camera all the time and use with their Arca-Swiss type ball heads. It also features a removable strap loop that can be removed if desired. The loop is mounted via stainless steel screw that also acts as a safety stop.
