About the Sangean PT-50

The Sangean Portable FM-Stereo/AM/SW 1-7 World Receiver with world time is a compact digital radio featuring AM, FM plus seven shortwave bands. Shortwave bands are: 5900-6200, 7100-7350, 9400-9900, 11600-12100, 13570-13870, 15100-15730 and 17500-17900 kHz. The LCD is backlit and there is a built-in clock that will wake you to radio or buzzer with 12 or 24-hour mode. The rotary knob selects world time zones. There is a Stereo-Mono switch on the side of the radio.
