The Bebob Engineering Coco EX3 Battery Adapter is especially designed for the Sony PMW-EX3. The COCO-EX3 is a compact and cost-effective method of powering accessories such as a light, on-board LCD monitor, or audio receiver. Designed to draw voltage from high capacity Anton Bauer Gold Mount batteries. Coco-EX3 attaches to the back of the camera in place of the battery. The Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery then simply snaps onto Coco's special mounting plate.
You'll get 12V to run a camera light such as a Lux-LED, hard-disk recorder, or an external LCD monitor via a unique new Twist D-Tap connector. Four Hirose 4-pin connectors deliver 12V for the camera's power supply and to operate wireless audio accessories. The ingenious twist technology allows for 180° orientation of the power cable. Regardless of direction chosen, the same polarity is maintained. The addition of the COCO-EX3 and battery enhances the balance of the camera by adding counter balance to the back of the camera.
