About the Series 7 Adapter Mount Plate

The Series7 adapter plates for the Canon camcorders are high impact, low profile ABS molded plastic conversion plates. The adapter plate allows you to convert the existing battery mount to a Series 7 mount, to allow the freedom and convenience of one battery system powering multiple camcorder models. The plate simply locks in to the battery compartment like a battery would and the locking detent system, allows the user to simply attach and detach the Series 7 SL-50 battery as you would any other battery.
