Good value for the price; works well.
Used for e-mails, general web searches and photo editing with Picasa 3.
At first I had problems typing and having fingers hit the touchpad. Now I changed my typing style.
Seems to have good battery life, although it is mostly used plugged-in.
I specifically wanted Windows 7, and that's not too easy to get. Thanks Adorama for stocking this Acer Ultra.

So far, so good
This is a great computer for people who use computers primarily for web browsing, to create documents (esp. students and teachers), and to stay in touch with friends and family. It has a webcam, the processor is speedy, and it has a comfortable keyboard. Also, it runs Windows 7, which is the main reason why I bought it. It's very light and the champagne color is unique. However, downsides include the Acer bloatware that comes preinstalled, no MS Office, and the mousepad is not as sensitive as I'd like it to be. I find that I have to put more pressure on it than I'm used to.
Overall, this is a computer I would recommend, especially those on a budget.

Great for school
This was a gift for my girlfriend because she was going off to collage. She needed something that was easy to carry to class and could get her school work done. She isn't doing any 3D modeling or heavy calculations with Matlab or something, but the i3 processor and intel 3000 HD graphics could handle something like that. This is NOT a gaming laptop and the processor really isn't that powerful but for what she needed, this is perfect.
