Good upgrade to aging MacPro

Installed this on a 2008 MacPro (3,1) with little trouble. Has boosted the system considerably when doing intense filters in Lightroom and other GPU heavy tasks. Mavericks seems snappier now. Had to read Apple instructions on how to install one DVI monitor and one dvi adaptor monitor to get it to work properly.

Great improvement over old one.

Apple Mac Pro for video editing. It has increased our production due to the speed over our old video card.

5870 Works Great in 2008 MacPro

Even though the two mini Display ports won't carry audio in a 2008 macpro, you can have a total of 3 video lines running at the same time = very helpful in editing.
