Five years of excellent vacation usage!

from Fort Lauderdale, FL  -  Casual/ Recreational

I read about these in Outdoor World magazine as being a great buy and BOY ARE THEY! They enhanced my vacations in the South West and Canada and Scotland and were very affordable through Adorama. I had a little problem with them after 5 years and Alpen Optics sent me a brand NEW pair of Shasta Ridge 10 x 42 in the return mail. If this is your budget (< $200) get these guys with confidence. You won't be sorry! [I'm not trying to sound liker an add for Alpen - I have no connection to them except as a VERY happy customer]. They are not perfect - they're not as good optically as my Nikon 8 x 32 SE CF glasses (but not many binoculars are).
