Better than the rest!

Cheaper surge protectors allow unprotected power to be available after their circuits have been damaged (tripped for surge protection), leaving your equipment exposed to future surges. While this protector isn?t inexpensive, it is a good one that protects your expensive A/V equipment by turning off power to these devices if the protection circuits are no longer viable. This is not a problem, it?s what you want!

P8V POWER FILTER

I INSTALLED MY P8V FILTER ON MY WIFES COMPUTER AND IT EAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND HAD ALL THE OLUGS I NEEDED TO INSTALL HER COMPUTER AND ALL ITS ACCESORIES. IT HAS LIGHT TO TELL YOU IF ITS OVERLOADED AND WORKING PROPERLY AND IF THE WIRING YOU PLUGGED IT INTO IS PROPERLY WIRED . ITS ANOTHER GREAY APC PRODUCT AND I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE

The APC P8V Audio/Video Surge Protector is fail safe, which means that once the circuit of an APC SurgeArrest has been compromised the unit disconnects equipment from the power supply ensuring that no damaging surges reach your equipment. The APC P8V Audio/Video Surge Protector totes enough outlets accommodate wide transformer blocks without covering adjoining outlets and 2 always on outlets.

You can plug 8 power cords including 3 transformers at the same time. In case you have equipment that has to stay on all the time, such as fax machine, you can plug it in always on outlets. The equipment will be protected and will have power supply even when the unit is switched off.
