I use this Surge Protector for my home office. Love that it has 8 outlets and it also provides extra peace of mind with Fail Safe Mode.

I purchased this model for the power saving features. My TV is connected to the master switch and powers off my receiver, Xbox, and Blu-ray player when turned off. This power saving feature is easy to configure (one button) and works well. I've only had issues with that feature due to my use of a Harmony remote that I can't seem to configure to wait between turning on the TV and other devices (to give them time for power to be restored, as it takes a second or two). Beyond that, the unit has met my expectations.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

This is a great surge protector. Had a power surge from storm. Everything on this protector was fine, had another surge protector from different manufacturer that didn't hold up as well.

don't buy this product. APC power saving Audio video surge protector died after less than 2 months. How do i get a refund??? its supposed to have a lifetime warranty

Someone posted there unit lasted almost 2 months. I love the fact that APC products last 4-ever and are quality products. I should have listened to the reviews. When this model is shut off each day (as in overnight) it will not last 60 days! My unit lasted about 4 weeks (5 weeks from receiving it but it was not used right away). Same symptoms as others. Design\manufacturing flaws. When it stops working the power on self test works and the unit supplies power for about 2 seconds, then the 8 outlets go dead with just the Protection Working light lit on the device.
