Functional, but not flawless.

I purchased these after reading many reviews on various sites. All reviews pointed to these being the best sounding and performing waterproof headphones. I had hoped that they could be the single pair of headphones I took on a recent trip to the beach. Unfortunately, I found the sound to be lacking in bass and mids, and overall they sounded quite thin. As such, I ended up traveling w/2nd set of headphones on the trip for all non-water related activities. The tonality of the headphones didn't bother me for audio books, but for music I had to use my Ultimate Ear UE5 Pro in-ear monitors. Obviously, UE5 Pros are in a whole different ballpark, but I would say that the waterproof headphones didn't sound as good as standard iPod headphones, and I was a bit disappointed. I wasn't satisfied with my purchase until I took the headphones into the pool w/my iPhone in a waterproof case. I really enjoyed the flexibility of lounging in the pool while listening to music. I also found that the headphones sounded a bit better once my ears were wet from swimming. I'm guessing the rubber tips made a more solid seal with my ear canal due to the water being present. One other note: Even with multiple sizes of rubber tips, the headphones don't stay in very well. If the cable had wire in it that could be used to run the cables behind your ears, like most IEMs, it would stay in much better. All in all, I would recommend them, as long as you don't expect $500 sound from sub $100 waterproof headphones.

Good headphones

The best I've tried so far. It would be nice if they included some different size earpieces though.

45 days in, so far so good

I don't feel right about giving these 5 stars, because 1) I've only used them for a month & a half, and 2) I don't intend to use them under/in water. That said, I bought them because I wanted a sturdier pair of headphones for working out and almost everyday use. So far, so good. But I won't really know how well they last until several months from now. They are serving me fine so far, and fit my ears fine. My ears are small, but I think my ear canals themselves are average. I have always used the middle size of other brands. One con: the cord wants to stay curled up, but it straightens OK. BUT, it is a tougher cord than most, which is important to me.
