Quality docking station/keyboard

The only down side that I could see is the fact that the keyboard is light and the tablet is a little heavyier and will tip over from your lap. My only suggestion is to be aware and us some wisdom. If you don't need the keyboard leave it off and enjoy the tablet flat down.

Keeps charging tablet which drains batt.

If you don't shut down the tablet when your not using it, leaving the keyboard attached will drain both batteries. The keyboard is designed to charge the tablet, it keeps charging it every time the tablet's power drops even 1%. I noticed that happening to mine and tried to use juice defender(paid version) and other apps but have yet been able to fix this problem. Also response can be a little slow sometimes and the virtual keyboard will pop up every now and then, but with all that said I still recommend getting this keyboard because those problems are because of the tablet and not the keyboard.

Nice to have but...

I bought this tablet specifically because it integrated well with a keyboard and became more like a laptop. There are many times when I check email and end up needing to write a long reply. Trying to do that on screen is not fun, so the keyboard gives you the option to have your tablet behave more like a laptop. But then, you are tempted to do things like right click, which on this tablet acts like a back button instead of bringing up a shortcut menu. So it can get a little bit frustrating. Also, if you decide to use the tablet just as a tablet you then have a keyboard that you have to figure out what to do with. So I actually just leave my keyboard always attached and treat it more like a laptop.

Its nice keyboard.

It's a little on the light side. If you have it on your lap the Asus transformer tablet is heavy and could tip over, but so will my 17.5 inch Hp laptop. On table no problems. Locks to tablet soundly. All in all it well built and I'm happy with it.

This keyboard makes my tablet complete as I travel. Also, I can use it for making notes when in painting workshops, along with the photos I take.
