This is the first generation model. It does NOT have 4G LTE data--it has HSPA+, which is pretty fast but not as fast as 4G LTE. I got a T-Mobile data micro sim and installed it, and it works for TMobile's free 200mb/month plan (and it would work with their paid plans too, should you choose one of those.) Supposedly it will also work with AT&T but I cannot confirm this.

I bought this tablet to supplement my iPad. The iPad beats it on display, but the Nexus beats it on size and portability - now I would rather have the nexus to check mails, etc. The swipe to type feature works great. Battery charge is good, gets through a 6 hour flight of constant movies, music,reading. I am still getting used to the google ecosystem, still prefer iTunes. Good hardware runs everything smooth and great bang for the buck.

I like the features on Nexus. It has a soft button on screen, easy to carry and seems well built. The battery does not seem to last for 9 hours as it is advertised.

I did enjoy using this tablet til battery refuse to charge therefor it's useless tablet now only 20days from purchase. I had chat with on line suport, not great help could not get me RMA# either. I have to call over the telephone.

It's a nice tablet if you just want to have something to quickly check emails or watch videos on youtube but if you want to read articles or magazines then the size is little small. Most of the apps are designed for iPhone5 or iPad so you can't get 100% advantage of the ecosystem.
