Near to perfection, and yet so far...

super design and feature set, elegant, light, classy. However, as other reviews have reported there is a problem of dropped characters. Asus says it is a kb driver issue and will be resolved. Maybe, or maybe it is mechanical. This issue is annoying but within acceptable limits. The big issue is that IE is not well integrated with the Asus-specific software. IE freezes or will not recognize kb input at all. Rebooting corrects the problem for a while. I have switched to Chrome and all seems stable, but I prefer IE. Asus says they are working on it, but their support team, while eager and polite, are not at the standard of HP or Dell. I will update my review as events warrant. I still love this machine!
