I use my Asus Touchscreen Notebook for everything from listening to recorded lectures from my online classes to using mind mapping tools for effective brainstorming during team meetings at work. The size of this device is perfect for managing your personal and business life on the go. I have become a touchscreen addict thinking that every screen (e.g., television, non-touchscreen laptops) has touchscreen capability.

Awesome Notebook for 3 reasons: (1) Low Price (2) Powerful enough for typical business use, i.e. presentations, document generation, email… (3) Light weight and small size, but large enough screen to render most "things" properly. 2 Primary Cons (1) Lousy Touch Pad: the Touch Pad extends onto the portion on the pad which also serves as the Left and Right Buttons; resulting in "troublesome" clicking if cursor placement accuracy is critical. (2) 7mm HD limits replacement options. I have used the 500GB Seagate Hybrid in all my other notebooks, but this will not fit inside the Ultrabook; however I am pleased with the Cold Boot Time of the Ultrabook with the factory HD. Bottom Line: I would buy again.

I needed a lightweight PC for travel and this is it. The touchscreen feature is responsive and best of all, it shows that the equipment is of the latest design and wows others. Connects to Wi-Fi with no problem and battery life is good. The 500gb hard drive gives me ample storage and best of all, it can be connected to an external monitor or an HDTV with the included ports.

Great performance for the price. Works great as a tablet like PC with Windows8 so that you can use it for everyday use(Microsoft office and other windows applications) as well as entertainment

I bought this laptop to do homework while traveling, it gets the job done well but the slow her is noticeable. The touch screen and windows 8 on this system work great, without the touchscreen why not just use windows 7. This is a great system for students and everyday user's.. gamers don't bother.

Touch screen is responsive. The overall construction feels solid. It is nice to have touch screen to maximize windows8. Battery life is about 3 hours which is a little less than most laptops.

Better than expected. Screen not too dark. Speed is fine. Very affordable. But HDD is the bottle neck.

The Asus VivoBook 11.6" Notebook Computer features a traditional notebook computer design, but has a capacitive touchscreen for added convenience. You'll be able to use your keyboard, mouse and now your fingers as you can tap directly on tiles instead of clicking on them.
This Asus VivoBook also features the Windows 8 Home Premium (64-bit) operating system. With a redesigned Start screen and an emphasis on tiles that update real-time and capacitive touchscreen support, Windows 8 provides a unique user experience.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.8 GHz Intel Core i3-3217U processor. It also has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500 GB 5400 rpm hard drive, a 3-in-1 media card reader, 10/100 Mbps fast Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated 0.3-megapixel webcam.
