Bought this for my daughter to use as a portable machine for school. Pros: - The price is reasonable - Form factor has very convenient size & weight. - AC adapter has a very long cord - Battery life seems decent Cons: - Non-replacable battery - Wifi performance seemed spotty, with occasional inconvenient disconnects - Not sure whether its the i3 processor, windows 8, flash, or some combination but web browser slowdowns can wedge the whole system for 30-60 seconds. - Windows 8 is very annoying - Display automatically dims whenever you unplug the AC adapter, regardless of settings

I biugjt this machine to get mu first hands on experience with a touch screen and Windows 8. I also use it to do some design work on an auto cad program.. The price was more than readonable and now that i have it it is very hard to get back on my company supplied laptop .

This has to be one of my favorite computers, and I have owned many. Windows 8 is a pain but the computer is fast and everything is easy once you learn the new software.

I am extremely happy with my choice to purchase the Asus x202e. Although the price was low, it does not feel cheap at all. I love that the charger chord is compact. The keyboard is a little smaller than normal, but I haven't had any problems adjusting. The touch pad needed an updated driver to make it easier to use, other than that it is perfect for home use or taking with me on business. With the full size hard drive I can store all of my necessary info, and still have room left for media. I have it connected to my home network for media sharing and it works great.

The Asus VivoBook 11.6" Notebook Computer features a traditional notebook computer design, but has a capacitive touchscreen for added convenience. You'll be able to use your keyboard, mouse and now your fingers as you can tap directly on tiles instead of clicking on them.
This Asus VivoBook also features the Windows 8 Home Premium (64-bit) operating system. With a redesigned Start screen and an emphasis on tiles that update real-time and capacitive touchscreen support, Windows 8 provides a unique user experience.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.8 GHz Intel Core i3-3217U processor. It also has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500 GB 5400 rpm hard drive, a 3-in-1 media card reader, 10/100 Mbps fast Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated 0.3-megapixel webcam.
