The Aviom DS16 is a 16x16 digital snake system ideal for smaller ensembles. The system uses one AN-16/i-M on the stage side that can accept up to 16 mic/line inputs. At front of house, those signals are to your console via an AN-16/o v.4 Output Module. Returns are handled by an AN-16/i at FOH and a second AN-16/o v.4 on stage. All 32 channels are transmitted over a single Cat-5e cable.
Each input channel on the AN-16/i-M contains a three-segment level meter, a continuously variable gain knob, a phase reverse switch, 48-volt phantom power and a rumble filter with an 85Hz roll off. The 16 balanced outputs on the AN-16/o v.4 are provided via DB25 multipin connectors. The analog outputs can be set (per channel pair) to +24dBu, +18dBu, +4dBu, or mic level.
