Great monitor!

By

from Atlanta, CA  -  Business Owner

I was shopping for a new monitor and was kind of stuck with what brand to go with. I looked at different expensive viewfinder monitors at about four stores. I wanted the monitor to have a HDMI input but didn't want to spend a fortune on it. So I went to Adorama. It was a better price then other monitors offering the same features. Overall this is a great monitor and the price is great. I'm very happy with my choice and I'll recommend to everyone.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Is this a great monitor? I need one for the Sony HVR-Z5U camera since I'm the shooter, reporter, producer all in one.
MICHAEL W  How well will this work with the Nikon D800? I don't see any reference (on any unit) to the Nikon "battery plate"
Andrew R  The manufacturer does not specify a particular camera make/model compatibility. The battery plates referenced are for powering this device using common Sony or Canon rechargeable battery packs not an indicator of camera compatibility.
David S  Does it have loop through? I see the monitor has component video in? Does it have component video out?
mike p  Odd, my monitor DOES have component loop-thru. I have not used this output but I did use the component input with my Sony Z1U and it worked great.
