The Axis Communications P3364-V Vandal-Resistant Day/Night Indoor Fixed Dome Camera with 12mm Lens is equipped with a 1/3" RGB CMOS sensor, captures clear and crisp images in HDTV resolution. Featuring progressive scan technology, rest assured that you will get smooth image capture for scenes with fast moving objects. For video compression, this network camera transmits multiple streams in H.264 and MJPEG video formats at either full frame rates or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints.

Defined by its Day/Night ICR (infrared cut filter removal) function, the network camera switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. While remote focus feature makes installations simpler by eliminating the need for hands-on focusing at the camera, the remote zoom optimizes the camera's angle of view for the scene. With the pixel counter feature, the installer can ensure the pixel resolution of an object meets the regulatory or specific customer requirements. Besides, the indoor camera includes features such as privacy masking, text and image overlay, exposure control and mirroring of images.

This camera features digital pan, tilt and zoom capabilities for enlarging portions of the image so that they can be inspected closely. PTZ operation can be automated with preset positions and guard tours.

Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection and active tampering alarm. The camera supports an open API (Application Programming Interface) for software integration, including the ONVIF specification for interoperability between network video products. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (IEEE 802.3af); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.

The Axis P3364-V is a 1-megapixel day and night fixed dome network camera that offers superb video performance. It delivers 30 fps in all resolutions up to HDTV 720p/1MP. The camera also supports digital pan/tilt/zoom, allowing a view area cropped from the full view to be streamed for viewing or recording. This can be used to minimize the bit rate and storage needs by optimizing the fixed viewing angle after installation or by allowing pan, tilt and digital zoom in the view.

Lightfinder technology and P-iris control
The Axis P3364-V integrates The Axis' Lightfinder technology. The outstanding light sensitivity, with maintained colors even in very poor lighting conditions, is obtained by a combination of The Axis' expertise in image processing, system-on-chip development and selection of the best optical components. The camera also supports P-Iris control, allowing the camera to precisely control the position of the iris. The iris opening is optimized for depth of field, lens resolution and light inlet, resulting in superb image quality with optimal sharpness.
