Not so good
I ordered this background for portraits but it hasn't worked out. The frame spring prevents it from opening up flat so it's always bowed.

Does the job.
This disc does the job but quality control seems to be an issue. I've purchased and returned 2 of these for having color streaks across the white side. We'll see how the 3rd one is when it comes in.
The frame isn't completely flat when it is opened up which does produce some slight wrinkles in the fabric. As long as you are lighting it, this isn't a big deal.
40"x60" is big enough, but just barely. I will probably be ordered the next size up as well.

DOES NOT LAY FLAT!!!
These backgrounds do not lay flat....none of them. I had purchased three and all of them were twisted and impossible to straighten.
I've seen a few folks report using clamps and a background support on these, but here's the thing: you shouldn't have to use clamps and a background stand on a collapsible background - it sort of defeats the purpose and you had might as well use seamless paper.
The flashpoint white/black backgrounds are full of so much fail that the Internet will crack in half from fail overflow.
Complete garbage product.

It works, but it's not flat
I'm on my second of these, and both have the same problem, which is that when you "unfold" it it does not lay flat but is instead not-so-slightly curved out on one side and curved in on the other.
It is still usable, but I'd rather pay more for a better option. A different one of Adorama's larger collapsible backdrops, one with a different pattern on each side, is perfect in this regard.

Does not lay flat!!
This product doesn't lay flat and becomes difficult to use. Very poor design. I returned it and I am looking for another product. The white paint comes off very easily. Adorama was great about the return and I would order from them again. Actually I will order a $ flash from them, because of their great help with this product.

I would buy and recommend this product!
The product image on the site makes the reflector look cheap but when you actually get the product, it's a nice size and the fabric material is durable. I use this to prevent reflection off of stainless steel and this is large enough to do the job. I recommend this product!
