This is a wonderful backdrop for headshots. The pattern blends beautifully in teh background. For the price, it's an exceptional value.

First off the background I received is exactly the same as is pictured on the item description. It is a lightweight material which makes it very easily portable, on the other hand an even moderately bright light behind it will show through - this could be both a bonus or a downside depending on how you use it. Of course, increasing your front light(s) will give you more f-stop to reduce or eliminate a backlight problem. Any background like this will wrinkle like crazy and this one is no exception. Because it's lightweight, it easily can be put in to a standard clothes washer. I always do a light wash and tumble dry and then hang it from the background stand for a couple hours and pack it just before leaving for a shoot. This does help with big creases, not so much for the small, tiny wrinkles. The background's cross pole pocket is sewn on the 10' side, as would be typical. I prefer to have the pocket on the long end so I took it to a tailor/drycleaner and had a new one sewn in, that cost 10 bucks and it works great. I can use either pocket easily enough though.

I have found this color to really work well as a background. You can blast it with light and turn it white which I have done on occasion. I bought another one a few days ago of this same style and it is much darker than the first one. I wish I had bought them at the same time so they would have been the same color. I checked my records and the style is the same - the color is just darker.
