I've used this backdrop for photographing a dance studio. The pictures came out very nice. The "crushed" pattern makes it easy to manituplate in post processing if needed. Have not washed it yet so don't know how it will stand up to that but so far it seems to be doing nicely. Will be one of my main go tos for a while.

I used this backdrop for a series of portrait shoots and really enjoyed the color. This backdrop is VERY long and much longer than I needed it to be, but it still worked out well. The only downside is that out of the box it had a lot of wrinkles and creases that even ironing a portion of the backdrop didn't really take care of. The fold creases started to reappear a few days later. Nice color though and the backdrop held up well.

Good product. If you indeed want gray, this drape is not for you.

I purchased this background to use for family and child portraits. As such it fulfills my needs. It is quite lightweight ( a pro for transport and a con for long term durability) but for the price it delivers everything that I expected. I found that it was virtually impossible to get the wrinkles out and keep them out so I live with them. To get the pattern folds out from shipping I put the background into the washer on rinse and spin and then the dryer on light heat till dry; that worked well with no apparent ill effects.

The Belle Drape Medium/Dark Gray backdrop provides an easy to use, easy to store background for any type of formal portraiture. The four inch hem provides an easy means to hang the backdrop from any standard support system. It doesn't compete with your subject, but emphasizes the subject and colors stand out wonderfully in front of this neutral backdrop. The price is great, too. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I needed a backdrop but did not want to spend a lot at this time. I decided to try the Belle Drape and see how well it would work. It is a little more "lightweight" than I would prefer but it has worked well in the portraits that I have taken. If you are just getting started I would recomend this backdrop without hesitation. If you can afford one that is heavier it might last longer.
