I use these almost every day. I purchased "this" (same product item/listing") a year or so ago, and received a slightly undersized, but, like the listing says, Heavy Weight. It had an Adorama logo sewn on. It was nice, and I was looking to get a new one... However!... This time I did not receive the same item that I tried to get a new one of. It's slightly larger, but MUCH thinner. NOT HEAVY WEIGHT.
Awhile back I ordered the 10x12 Belle Drape solid light grey background. I needed a white background for an upcoming photo shoot. So again I went with a Belle Drape, since the first was was very nice. Sadly this is not the case for the "heavy weight" white background. This background is paper thin, I can clearly see my hand behind it. It's frayed all the way around the edges.
Bought for my modest studio. Color consistency is OK for the price point. Although not cheap but it is reasonably priced.
Another great Adorama product, an added backdrop to my collection. The red one is next on my list!
I ordered the regular white Muslin back drop and the Black Muslin back drop and the only difference between the two is price and a label that says heavy. The texture is the same and I put each a weight scale and they weigh the same. I feel ripped off.
For the price, this background is perfect. We use it for photo-booth-type events and it's thick enough that with two strobes aimed at it, you don't see any background through it. With a little bit of steaming, 90% of the wrinkles went away the first time we got it out. Great cheap background!
....as a quick durable drop...lite weight
Used this for basketball team photos. I placed a muslin backdrop underneath the black cloth because it was a little thin. Worked out fine this way.
Thick enough fabric to not be see-through when lit. Not too wrinkly. Seems fairly heavy duty. Decent quality for price paid.
THis is a great must have product for basic or beginer portrait photography.
