It's an extra "QR" Plate

I use this as an extra plate so I can swap between my Canon T4i and Harmon Titan. Nice not to have to keep swaping a single plate. It's a bit long so when mounting it to the Canon T4i be cognizant and avoid blocking the battery compartment. Other than than it works as advertised.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
HENRY C  I have the Benro Tripod
Shopper  Can you use this plate with the black rapid strap adaptor that fits the manfrotto tripod head ? This is a screw with a ring on it to attach to the black rapid strap
DJORN C  I don't know which tripod head you refer to, or what strap adapter, but a friend of mine has the black rapid strap, and it is not "directly" compatible with any of my tripod plates, as you need a flat screw head to secure the plate to the camera and fit to the tripod head, and the rapid strap has a ring on the end of its securing screw that attaches to the strap, which means it has to come off to attach the plate, or if modified to the plate, will likely render it unable to attach to a tripod, unless the ring will rotate down and out of the way for use on a tripod. My friends rapid strap won't do this trick, so unless the rapid strap folks have a new gadget, it likely won't work. My friend likes the strap a lot, and it removes easily enough so attaching a plate will not likely take too long or cause too much trouble...plus, by removing the strap completely, the strap won't contribute to motion blur! For me, though,it is too much trouble, as I use my tripod more than she does. So,it appears to be either the strap, or the plate, not both at once.
