High quality and practical
I do a lot of landscape photography so I needed a versital stable tripod. The Gloabtrotter is definitely that. With landscapes come hiking and traveling, this is the largest, strongest, most stable tripod I have owned that is easy to carry along. It's light, compact and has a very high quality case that clips right to my backpack.i would definatly buy this product again, however it doesn't look like I will have to for a very long time.

Nice travel tripod
Good compromise between size and sturdiness. I've used lighter tripods but none was sturdier; I've never used a tripod that stows "shorter" although it is a bit cumbersome to fully extend/compress. Better made than some but not like Gitzo. If you want a compact traveler that you can rely on for professional gear, this is a keeper.
