The Bogen Manfrotto 521EX remote control is designed specifically for use with Sony's new PMW-EX1 video camera. The PMW-EX1 is a solid state only camcorder with no tape mechanism and as the tapeless route appears to be building in popularity the new remote control is an important market development for Manfrotto.
