"Great for backpacking!"

Good solid product for compactness. Great when you don't want to carry around a larger monopod.

Basic modopod

Works ok but it is not as rigid as I would like.

Handy Tool

Great product. I only wish it was a bit more compact - maybe 6 segments instead of 4.

Practical and lighweight

The monopole is a great tool for tight spaces like a concert or places where you cannot deploy a tripod

I liked it.

Nice monopod except that the only head I could use with it in the Manfrotto #234. I own another brand ballhead and three way pan head both of which I use on my tripod and neither head would fit onto this monopod.

Great product for the price

Great for the price. Folds compact. Remember you would need a head. Makes a perfect companion to my Manfroto tabletop tripod since the head is interchangeable.

I am 5'7" and extended the monopod brings camera viewfinder to eye level so I can stand straight and shoot.

Dependable

By

from Mt. Pleasant, SC  -  Pro Photographer

I carry it with me even when I plan to use a tripod. It can be used for low-light, quick shots when I haven't time for set-ups, overhead shots in large crowds, and for extending speedlights beyond arms length. Obviously, it is not intended for long lens use or heavy loads, but it does well what it is designed for.

Surprisingly Good For the Low Price

By

from Chatsworth, CA  -  Semi-pro Photographer

This monopod is surprisingly good for the price, but I expected quality from Manfrotto - just not this good. It's very stable and strong, the clamps lock securely with no wobble, and the height is ideal. I bought a tilting monopod head to go with it, and I'm good to go. Great for sports.

Well made and easy to use!

By

I will use it mostly on long trips involving a lot of walking to avoid lugging my heavier and bulkier conventional tripod. One leg of my tripod can be used as a monopod but it is too long to fit in my favorite carry-on suitcase.
