Holds a D300 & Nikkor 24-70 very well with minimal droop. The CF legs have great dampening characteristics. The smallest leg extension is quite thin but not extending them adds to the stability. A great compact tripod that weights next to nothing so it is very easy to add it to any kit without a weight or bulk penalty. It packs up smaller than my manfrotto compact light stands!

Probably will not last as long as $1000-$1500 setup, but it seems good so far.
