LOOKING FOR THIS FOR A LOOOOOOOOONG TIME

Besides using it for general photography. I use the 797 to take pictures of smaller items, including close ups of hallmarks which requires a steady support of the camera. The 797 ModoPocket is ideal.

Convenient and Useful

By

I used this device to take macro photos of wild mushrooms in the woods. It works well with a lightweight point and shoot or compact camera. It is sturdy and well constructed. It would have been more useful for my purposes if the 'legs' were a bit taller.

Liked it so well bought 2 more as gifts

Makes it very easy to aim the camera, is steady, secure and best of all small. Another great feature is you never have to remove the stand from you camera because it also attaches to a standard tripod. So small and handy for travel. Great for including yourself in a photo without having to ask someone to take a picture of you and/or your group. My camera has an off center mount for a tripod. Thanks to the camera stands adjustable centering, my camera is now centered and perfectly balanced. Liked it so much, I just purchased 2 more as Christmas gifts!

Great Support for my Kodak Zi8!

By

from Middletown, DE USA  -  Photo Enthusiast

I have a Kodak Zi8 and this little camera support works well with it... I keep it attached to the Zi8 all the time for quick set-ups! Made very high quality! Attached a video I took of birds at a Bird Bath in my back yard.

Well Built, Well Designed,Just Works

By

from Gloucester Ma  -  Photo Enthusiast

I photo and vblog blog so having a portable camera at all times is critical. I can leave this attached to my Sony DSC H20 and still keep it in my pocket. For night time shots with long exposures it holds the camera securely. This is not to replace your full scale completely adjustable tripod but for the very little cost to be able to take macro shots in poorly lit areas or conduct impromptu interviews it is fantastic and must have IMO. I have an example of the unboxing and a video I took of it in my review here- [@]

I use the ModoPocket to hold & place my Olympus LS-10 & LS-11 PCM recorders, you can mount the unit on a tripod or use as a small stand. They are so small I leave them on all of the time. They do not interfere with any of the controls on the recorders. They also work well with my small cameras.
