I use this monopod for support on longer lenses and slower shutter speeds. This pod is easy to adjust and very firm support. I'm very please with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

Use for stability shooting landscapes and occasional wildlife in parks. Easy to mount to the camera. Will control camera shake in most shots > 1/50 sec.

Using the monopod to shoot DJ's at night clubs. Wanted something sturdy yet lightweight, so I wouldn't be tired by the end of the night. This works. Had to buy a swivel head, but that is typical. Wished it came with a bag or carrying case for the price. Cheaper units do, but I the Manfrotto name is why I bought it.
