The stunning 3.0" (7.5 cm) Smart Touch Screen LCD display features a user-friendly touch interface. The camcorder is capable of 4X digital zoom, but only in the 720p recording mode. It can also take 16 megapixel max resolution digital stills.

The DV3HDZ features several shot improving functions as well. It has real time auto-focus, automatic face detection and automatic motion detection and touch auto exposure. It's also equipped for night shooting with a built-in LED video light, as well as a night mode feature. For storage, the camcorder is outfitted with SD and MicroSD card slots. The SD/SDHC card slot supports up to 32GB memory cards for storing all your video clips and digital stills.
