The 555 is as close to perfect as one camera bag can get - notwithstanding the fact that there are many circumstances where different bags are needed for different jobs, the 555 is perfect for carrying your full kit in one bag. It has a spacious interior which is open to an infinite number of designs. Billingham's own inserts are not very useful in their original form and I would recommend cutting the small pocket off them in order to make the best use of the space available and get two lenses across the width of the bag. The 555 is deep enough to stack lenses if you need additional layers to fit everything you own but be aware this is a big bag and if you fill it to capacity you had better be a weight lifter to carry it with ease. The build quality is superb, which is to be expected of a bag that costs this much, and the generous floor padding offers great protection. I would advise thinking carefully about how you arrange the interior and unless Billingham starts to give this issue more thought, you might be better off with off-brand inserts to make the most of the space available. This is a brilliant bag and although I own several different bags for different purposes, this one is great when I need a large amount of equipment on a particular shoot.

I have gone through at least a dozen bags searching for something that just plain works without any "I like it but I wish it had...." I currently have and use two Tamrac's... but still have been searching for the BEST for over 3 years... AND THIS IS IT! The Billingham is easy to organize, to get at, to protect and to carry. It is sturdy, well designed and functional. I can carry nearly everything I need!! This is a ten star item!
