About Billingham Small

Following on from the success of the Hadley Original, we have introduced this smaller version. Just as its bigger brother it can be a well-equipped camera bag or with the photo insert removed, a business case or a posh beach bag.
In use, we recommend the flap straps are adjusted to length by using the buckle; the Quick Release System, i.e. the teardrop shaped hole which slips over the brass stud, is used for regular opening and closing. This way you will gain maximum benefit from the Quick Release System.

Billingham Hadley Small fine bag

Great bag for carrying a body with lens attached and a couple of lenses. The extra storage space between the liner and exterior of the bag is handy for carrying instruction manuals. This bag is light and comfortable, well built and attractive.

Great camera bag

Very well made, looks good, and does the job it was designed for. Holds a mirror-less camera and two lenses. Construction and fabric are top notch.

Not as nice as expected

By

from Berkeley, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

The Billingham Hadley Small proved disapointing. I have been looking for a nice, elegant bag for my rangefinder system for a while and read/viewed reviews that highly recommended this bag. Although the bag has nice canvas, I expected more for the price. It came with some dust on the canvas which I overlooked. When I placed my camera with a Noctilux lens inside it, the bag looked quite big --with the small front pouches sticking out. I also purchased the shoulder strap "2 which was cumbersome and uncomfortable. I think the padding is too thick for such as small bag and if used to carry a camera and a few lenses can feel/look quite big. I was also disapointed with the slow shipping system Adorama uses.

Light and elegant

Perfect for Leica and mirrorless systems. You can fit up to two cameras and four lenses if they are pocket sized. Not too heavy, and good padding.

Perfect travel companion

By

This bag is used mainly for traveling in foreign country. Even if the size is small, it is perfect for my Mamiya 6MF. Made from durable material and very well padded, it is great for getting unnoticed.

good bag

Well-constructed bag. Great choice for 2 Leica rangefinder cameras with lenses attached, film, & a few other things like map, small notebook, train tickets. Don't see how you could ever wear it out in a lifetime. Smaller than the Domke F6 but I like the slimmer profile better.

My favorite bag

By

from upstate SC  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I use this bag to carry a digital rangefinder and 3 lenses. It is slightly deeper than the L2 and it fits my gear better. It rides my hip, and doesn't add a lot of weight to my shoulder. The pockets are perfect for memory card, extra battery, blower bulb, and other personal items.
