Very easy Use

I use a bulk loader to save a little on film costs. The twist lock cap makes these easy to load and unload. The felt light trap is tight, so I have no worries about light leaks. I have already used a couple of them 5 times, (I keep track, marking each one when loaded). I would recommend these to anyone.

Frustrated

The cassettes are solid enough, and I like the screw-on caps. The light-traps, though, are awful. I have ordered these twice, and each time, one of the four cartridges had a felt light-trap that was literally falling off: I had to glue it into place before using the cartridge. To top that, the felt sheds. It is frustrating enough to clean the threads off the film or my darkroom counter; I feel lucky that none of it has found its way into the workings of my cameras.

Good alternate to metal cassettes.

With cassettes getting harder to find, it's good that these are available. They are easier to lock the top than the metal ones. Good alternate to metal and easy to use for the newbie to bulk loading.

I like the screw on cap...tried the metal pop on but they were difficult to use.

The twist on feature makes it way more reusable than the metal canisters

I like it and will buy it again

I use it with the bulk film loader. It is easy to open and close the cassette compared with metal ones. There is no light leaking problem.

Great Product

By

I bought about 50 of these and have not had any problems whatsoever. I use mostly TMAX 400 but have also used TRI-X. These and a bulk loader will help keep costs down over time. I also like to label them with cheap office labels. My photo friends were jealous so I let them have a few until they ordered some. It is alot easier to get the film out of the canister when loading into a dark bag. Great product!
