Neat device that can' deliver

Great design but does not trigger the shutter release on a Nikon D300. Called Bower and sent an email for support and no response. Works with flash option. Disappointed as reason for purchase was the shutter release feature.

About Bower 3-in-1 Advanced Wireless Remote and Trigger for Nikon D300S, D700, D800

The Bower 3-in-1 Advanced Wireless Remote and Trigger provides photographers with a vast array of external control options to maximize your flash photography options. You can connect the REFLEx with your studio flash or speedlite to trigger synchronously. Four channels per receiver allow you to synchronize up to 16 strobes and flashes at once. You can also mount the transmitter onto your camera and attach the receiver to your speedlight hotshoe in order to wirelessly control it.

Additionally, it can serve well as a remote shutter that can trigger your shutter in autofocus, single, continuous, bulb modes and more.
