This device is dependable, affordable, user friendly, versatile and produces quality images. It's a workhorse. We recommend this model and the brothers brand of other quality and dependable products.

Built-in Obsolescence

The cleaning well filled and the printer stopped working until emptied; the support tech informed me that there was nothing I could do myself, but would have to have the printer professionally serviced at a cost higher than the value of the printer, forcing me to trash it and use a printer from a different manufacturer. Because of this built-in obsolescence, I will probably never buy another Brother's product.
