The Brunton 8x44 Epoch MD Binocular combines nitrogen-filled fogproof housing and a range of optical features to create a high-transmission set of glasses for outdoor viewing in low light. Brunton's MaxDef optical system incorporates several premium features; including extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, fully multicoated optics and phase-corrected SK prisms. The resulting image is bright with lifelike colors and rich contrast. This configuration of the Epoch series is configured with 8x magnification, which transmit a wide 54deg. apparent viewing angle and three-foot close focusing distance, ideal for close to mid-range observations like hunting or birding. The non-slip rubber armoring, lightweight magnesium housing and long 20mm eye relief make the Epoch MD a full-featured optic that is reliable and comfortable to handle.
