About Bushnell 13-0521 Porro Prism

Bushnell's 4x30mm Xtra-Wide compact binoculars are the hottest ticket around for watching sporting events. They offer a field of view twice as wide as most binoculars, so you can see ALL the action - even a bullet pass down the sidelines that most viewers would just miss. In fact, with 4x30mm Xtra-Wide compacts, the action is always in frame, and you won't even have to take your hand out of the peanut bag to follow it.

These auto-focus, compact binoculars come with a hip pack and deliver an impressive 900-foot field of view at 1,000 yards. They feature BaK-4 prisms, as well as fully multi-coated optics for high resolution and enhanced light transmission. Then, too, there's non-slip, rubber armor and a large center-focus knob to help you keep everything in precise focus, so you never miss a second of the action either in the end zone or onstage.

Bushnell 13-0521 Porro Prism Features

  • BaK-4 prisms for maximum light transmission
  • Fully multi-coated optics for sharp, clear views
  • Nonslip, rubber armor for secure grip
  • Lightweight at 1 pound

There are very few low power/wide field of view binoculars made. I compared these to a Leupold and Bushnell Elite hunting rifle scope at the same power. I focused on a tree and sign approximatley 150 yards away. These binoculars were unable to show the fine details on the tree bark and the sign lettering was a a bit fuzzy. I will keep them knowing what their capabilities are and that there are no other choices.
