Works for my Sig 716!

Was looking for a good optic for my Sig 716, went through many different choices but none satisfied me more than the burris AR-332. It is "drop capable" for the 308/7.62x51 ammunition .. so thats what made me go for it, and it has a lower cost than most competitors with the same type of features. took it to the range and was able to reapeativly put five round groups within 1.50 moa .... I do wish it had a lil bit larger reticle for those longer shots but It still does the job! Thank you Burri...

Bad Retical Out of Box

I bought this scope yesterday and after mounting the scope I noticed that the retical was pointing at 2 o clock...QA department should have caught that flaw

Easy to acquire targets and is very accurate.

I use this On my Colt LE 6920 using a detachable site base. It returns to exact zero each time it's taken off & put back on the gun. It would be nice to have a little more eye relief. I bought one for my son on his birthday. He loves it.

I loved the adjustability ...

By

from Omaha, NE, United States

I loved the adjustability of the rectile and how compact it is. One thing I wish I could have done though was see what it felt like on my rifle at the store because I wouldn't have bought it. I like to shoot with both eyes open and I can't with it and the eye relief is not there at all. I have to put it the back of the rail and still put my face right up on it. Not for me but everything else was great.

No complaints

Got this several years ago. Fantastic optic. love the ability to run the sight without batteries. I have ran used it in various weather. Another point that goes in favor of this optic is that it has better eye relief that the competitors at a better price point.

First impressions

By

from Ransomville, NY, United States

So I got this scope initially for its sturdy and tactical look on my new AR. It delivers on both counts. What I already knew at the store was that the reticle border(a black or lighted circle) was a little bit much for me. I looked at a competing scope though and it had no reticle at all, but was purely red dot. Couldn't even think of an acog so I went with the scope. So far I've gotten a fair and consistent zero and have been accurate at the indoor range. I look forward to putting it through its paces outdoors soon as it seems that natural light aids in the sight picture. Seems like a keeper.

Best for the $$$

By

Bought this on the recommend of one of my teammates. Excellent glass, great features. I especially like that the black reticle operates even on a dead battery and the 5.56 drop compensator. For a waterproof shockproof optic, easily the best price on the market

Excellent quality

I didn't feel I needed the high dollar and I thought this mid range price scope would do fine. I was pleasantly surprised at the top quality production of the Burris. I took it hog hunting for a full day and it received it's fair share of abuse and it kept i's zero, accessing the running hog was much easier than I expected.

Rugged and high quality

I bought the scope to top my Sig 516 .223 rifle. Dialed it in 5 shots within a 'silver dollar' radius at 100 yards with only 15 cartridges and about 5 clicks on the Burris, mainly for elevation as the windage was right on. The scope is crystal clear and looks fantastic on my Sig! Great buy!

Questions about this item:

GILBERT S  WOULD I BE ABLE TO MOUNT THIS SIGHT ON MY 270 BOLT ACTION RIFLE?
DENNIS B  No problem. You just need a Picatinny rail like an AR. Reticule dots, however, correspond to bullet drop from 5.56 or 7.62 rounds not your .270 which would be different. This scope was designed for AR type rifles for point blank to intermediate ranges. There is probably another Burris scope out there with reticule built for your .270... you might ask them.
Joe p  Can you please tell me how to replace the battery?
LIONEL J  The Burris 3x32 is a excellent choice u can't go wrong. To change the battery unscrew the cap by the power control.
