Not correctly tinted

I ordered this lens and the same (#502) in 55mm. Neither one was tinted correctly. The 49mm was tinted halfway across, but was no more than one stop at its darkest (its supposed to be darkened to two stops). The 55mm was almost completely clear! There was only a tiny bit of tint on one edge - it was hardly even noticable. I would not recommend buying this brand of filter.
