Awesome product as always! B+W rocks!

I purchased this 6 stop ND to start working with long exposures. I have the 1, 2, & 3 stop NDs already. Most are B+W but one is a heliopan but I forget which ND. I also use the Kaismen version of B+W CPL and it is world class. I will eventually purchase the 10 stop ND for a complete collection. Since I use all 77mm FX lenses with my DX D7000 APS-C sensor camera I can stack a few filters on rare occasion if I want and not worry about lens vinette. Some of you are wondering why I dont just get a variable ND. While I have not looked at one in person, the reason I am putting that off is I quite often use my B+W CPL and if I stack a fixed ND with it I am not worried about accidently changing ND while rotating the CPL. I just dont like the idea of having more than one adjustment at the lens filter point while my eye is up to the viewfinder.

Takes some getting used to

Clear sunny days seem to work best for this filter. Cloudy and overcast days seem to fool the sensor and not have the desired effect.

Very good......But

Good color, clarity and ND effectivenss. Nice construction, the brass and glass are first class. The only issue is keeping it clean. It takes a lot of work and it does smear. Must be due to the single coating. I am living with it, byt wish it cleaned better.

Quality construction and results

My first experience with a neutral density filter was good. Good results so far. Reviews did help me move up the learning curve quickly. Shot mountain streams at mid day and still got the motion effect I wanted.

great ND for the price

I bought this to combine with my B&W 10 stop ND filter to stop enough light to get those longer daylight exposure shots Ive grown to enjoy so much. Its pretty amazing what 16 stops can do. it does take some patience to figure out exposure times though. Also the 1.8 6 stop filter gives great results on its own when the 10 stop is to much.
