Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries, 1.5 volt, are the only battery's I use for my Nikon SB-400 flash and also my Nissan i40 flash . Found them to be very reliable and long lasting.
I have used these batteries for a long time in my Canon flash and they just keep going and going. Best, longest lasting AA batteries I've ever used. And I have been into photography for more than 70 years.
very reliable! works like a charm & keeps my flash/gear going strong!
Have have used both Duracell and these Energizers with their respective chargers for 18 months now for both SB900, 800 and 600 flashes as well as 2 8 batt pack Battery packs for the flash photography in wedding and portrait events both indoors and outdoors broad day light pushing them full power for up to 2 hours. I have not been disappointed. Just now starting to see a slower response in flash recharge. The Energizer takes the lead at a 2450 power cell over a 2000 in the Duracell. I do NOT like how long the Energizer recharger takes to bring the battery back to power, I almost have to start recharging 2 days before an event if using them (bought 2 with batteries). I have since started using a 3rd party charger that takes about 4 hours for full charge and I have not seen any problem. At $3.00 a pack cheaper than Duracell, it is a great battery to have for my power foundation. DO make sure you keep batteries purchased grouped in usage mo/yr for replacement purposes. I am on my 2nd group of purchases the the 1st is about to move on to general duty for computer accy and such. Still holding great charge, just time to freshen up before the next season.
I first bought these batteries with their charger about 4 years ago—and have been using the same 4 batteries with my wireless keyboard and mouse since. They still hold a long-lasting charge. I've probably saved hundreds of dollars worth of batteries in that time.
The batteries lasted more than 35 days! During my 35 days of use, I captured around 700 photos while using these batteries. Note, I left the batteries inside my flash for a few weeks before I removed them. Usually, when I am not using my flash, which is a Canon 580 EX II, I like to remove the batteries. I am worried about battery leakage etc.... I would like to say more about these batteries, but I cannot at this time. I have an unopened package, which I will use for my next heavy flash event. I will report anything worth mentioning at that time.
more expensive at first-but lasts three times as long under any conditions
Rechargeable batteries have gotten much better over the years. The biggest problem is the time to charge them all up and carting them around all day.
I bought 4 packs of 4 batteries and use them for many things around my home, including but not limited to wireless keyboards, mice, cameras, and remotes. These energizer batteries last just as long as a regular battery, but with them being rechargeable makes it so that I will never have to purchase regular batteries again. This saves me money, while also helping the environment (I recycle batteries anyways but most people throw them in the trash). Highly recommended! A++
These really are great. The advertising is not a bunch of lies!
