This Sanyo Eneloop AA Rechargeable Battery "D" Spacer Kit includes 2 AA batteries and 2 "D" battery spacers. Just plug the Eneloop AA battery into the spacer and you can use it in equipment that requires a "D" cell battery. Of course, the spacers only adapt the mechanical dimensions of the Eneloop (length and diameter) and not its electrical characteristics. The voltage and the capacity remain unchanged from the Eneloop AA specification.
Sanyo Eneloop AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries combine the advantages of disposable batteries along with the advantages of rechargeable batteries. Because the batteries have a low-self discharge, the batteries are shipped charged and ready to use. The low self-discharge design allows you to store the Eneloop batteries for months and they will still provide almost full capacity and performance. Even after being stored for 1 year, the battery holds 85% of its charge. When charging the batteries there isn't any memory effect, so you get a full charge every time. The batteries have a life cycle of around a 1000 charges.
One of the main features of Eneloop batteries is that they operate at higher voltage levels. Many applications switch off or show the low battery signal if the voltage is lower than 1.1V. A traditional NiMH battery will lose its voltage at this critical level. Eneloop batteries, however, will keep the voltage level over 1.1V for a long time. That is why Eneloop batteries last longer than a standard 2700 mAh battery.

A Real Money-Saver
I use these batteries for everything in my house and outside of my house! My electric fence charger on the horse corral operates on 4 D cell batteries and lasts about a month. With these D-size adapters and a spare set of eneloop's already charged, the mischief is kept IN the corral. Also great for my cameras (video and still), electronics, electronic toothbrush, smoke alarms, flashlights.....you name it. Thanks for a great product.

I can't really tell if these have more peak power than the standard Sanyos, but they haven't disappointed yet.
I have tried many otrher battery brands and eneloop are the best
Great recycling time
have used Eneloops for quite some time with no issues at all. Great batteries that hold their charge better than some other brands.
These were charged out of the box and ready to use. I'm using them in my Canon 580EX II's and I've only had them out twice so far, but they seem to work just fine. Recycle time seems to be just as good if not better than regular Alkyne AA batteries.
They keep charged long time
At first I was skeptical that a rechargeable battery could replace the alkalines I use in my equipment, especially with manufacturers warning that rechargeable will perform so badly. However, these batteries work. My primary use for these is with my Tascam DR-40. I could easily burn through three dozen alkalines in a weekend. I've run some simple tests using my DR-40 and the rechargeables last as long or longer than the equivalent alkalines. I also recommend the Maha PowerEx MH-C801D for recharging these batteries.
Haven't had these that long and so I'm still breaking them in. They seem to be doing all that they should be doing.. Have placed these in some night lights in the house and then charging in the morning. If they live up to the 1500 recycles that had been said they may outlive me. I would buy them again and may do so in the future
These are the best rechargeable batteries I have ever used. Hold a charge for a long time and seem to discharge at a longer rate.
