The Bowens Gemini 250R (x2) Travelpak Tx/Rx Kit with Pulsar Tx/Rx Radio Remote (120 V) is a great way for on-the-go shooters to take to the road for portraiture or event photography. The 250R monolight has a powerful 250 W proportional modeling light, very fast 0.7 second recycling time and full Bowens system compatibility. Control is the key word with the 250R. Power settings selected via two dial-type knobs (one for full stop changes and the other for precise 1/10 stop adjustments) are displayed on the large, bright LED panel. Modeling lights, exhibiting similar flexibility can be set to full, proportional, or any user-defined level as well as turned off completely. You can avoid a tangle of PC cords by using the included Pulsar Tx transmitter and receiver to trigger your flash at distances up to 80 ft.

This is a Travelpak kit, so no electricity is no problem. The small Travelpak is a powerful battery that can handle 2 compatible monolights up to 1500 W/s for a total of 3000 W/s so the 250Rs in this kit will be a breeze. And you can keep shooting even when a battery starts to fade, with the hot-swap battery feature you simply unclip the control panel from the depleted battery and clip it right on to an optional fresh battery, without waiting for a battery to charge.
