I will admonish Canon for sticking with the WORST lens cap design. At some point, they will have to admit this design is poor and copy Nikon.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  How do I know if my lenses (for Canon EOS) are 52mm ?
ANNETTE C  If you look around the top of your lens, there should be a little symbol that looks like a circle with a line through it. Behind this symbol it should tell you if its a 52mm or just what size it is. Hope this helps.
RANDY M  I HAVE A CANON ZOOM LENS EF-S 18-55MM 1;3-5.6 IS 58MM LEN WILL THIS CAP FIT , AS I HAVE LOST THE ORIGINAL ?
JAMES M  No, the 52mm cap will not work, but if you goggle for a 58 mm Canon lens cap I am sure you will find one. Go online to the Canon website and select the model of your lens or camera and you can probably come up with a Canon part number. I bought 2 because they do not clip on to the lens front as good as they used to on the older Canon 35 mm cameras; T50 & T70's. Good Luck.
