The addition of a fixed camera rounds out Canon's extensive line ofNetwork Video Solutions products, offering just the right product to suit everyone's needs.
The VB-C50Fi is the fast, simple, affordable network video solution you've been looking for. With a Web server and FTP server built right in, the VB-C50Fi can transmit video images directly to your PC.
You simply connect your camera to your computer through the Web or your LAN and, in minutes, you're viewing still or full motion video. There's also the built-in network server that provides viewing for up to 50 clients simultaneously. With such performance, the VB-C50Fiis a versatile and affordable solution for your security video needs.
The VB-C50Fi works in virtually all your locations because of its impressive zoom range. The camera's 26X optical zoom lens boasts the industry's widest focal length range. Combine that with a 12X digital zoom, and you've got a camera that gives wide coverage and can also zoom in to show you important detail.
If you need a camera for an extreme, low light situation, the VB-C50Fi is for you. At a shutter speed of 1/30th second, the VB-C50Fi performs with as little as 1 Lux of illumination. And, when there's even less light or no light at all, the camera's Infrared Night Mode with built-in Infrared light feature lets you see what's going on, up to 9.8' away.
The VB-C50Fi broadcasts three different resolutions simultaneously and lets you choose the one that suits your needs. For example, if you have a slower connection or wish to view images through your video-enabled cell phone, you canselect a lower resolution image. If your network can accommodate larger file sizes, you can select higher resolution images. The range of resolutions include: 160 x 120, 320 x 240, and 640 x 480.
The VB-C50Fi is easy to install wherever you need it because it weighs in at a light 1.1 pounds and measures only 2.61"(w) x 5.28" (d) x 3.82" (h) (66.2x134.2x97.0 mm). The VB-C50Fi comes with the control capabilities you'd expect in a versatile, high performing security camera.
You can define 20 position pre-sets as part of a scheduled tour. Or, you can define 10 zoom position presets. What's more, you'll catch the most important action by setting your camera so that it is triggered when motion is detected.
The VB-C50Fi's scheduling function lets you control the operation of your camera. You can tell it when to record, or when to output signals to an externaldevice. You can schedule by week, date, time, motion-detection, and more - so you capture just what's important to you.
