Hi--the 2nd phonograph works great. The first one we had to return due to the fact that the arm would not stay on the mount after the record was done.

The player sounds great! My only nega things are: the dust cover doesn't stay still open, to the point that i have something to keep it open while dealing putting in and changing the vinyl. I called tech support, but no positive response nor solution was received!

I thought the purchase process was great. The part I didn't like is that when I received the table it didn't have a ground wire. So, I had to return the table for a refund.

Only one problem so far. After two days the button to change from 33 to 45 speed jammed down and would not release back up to play 33 Long Playing albums.

I am very impressed with the quality of this turntable! After placing the vinyl on the turntable and pressing the start button, the tone arm and needle automatically play the album after a few moments. All that you need to do is sit back and enjoy. The tone arm will return to the start position when playing the vinyl has completed.

If I could give this thing 0 stars I would. Of all of the stereo equipment I've owned and acquired throughout the years, this is the worst built piece I've ever seen. The start/stop system is a complete disaster, as I've had 2 fail out of nowhere. the stop button does nothing and then the start button fails. internally, whoever designed these function should be fired. Do better and get a different model or even company.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner and we love it. It integrates perfectly with our Denon amplifier and speakers, and I?m impressed with the sound quality at this price point. He?s thrilled to play his records from the 80s, though you can hear the scratches/static. We have a few new records that sound flawless. Setup was easy. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a turntable with a simple design & quality sound at a reasonable price.

Not recommended, nearly returned this item. Sound is OK, nothing special. Real problem lies in the tone arm, which would be 100% better with a little up/down lever. It's near-impossible for an older listener to cleanly select a particular track on an LP. That's fine for 45's, or for albums where every cut's a winner, but a nuisance for people selecting their favorites, or for people grading LP's for sale. Very disappointed with this product, which could have been greatly improved for another $10 or so of metal and plastic, which I would have gladly paid.

Nice product, but hated the idea of putting it together. Although, it was easy. Great addition to my system.

Beautiful sound. I had to throw out my old turntable from the 80s. This was easy to install and fits in the old cabinet and hooks up with my old amplifier. Now I can listen again to my 70s albums!!

The speed just isn't right, sounds slow or fast for some records and doesn't play some other records I own

My VPI needs some shop time, so I tried one of these with the intention of gifting it once I get my main rig back. At this price point, there is absolutely nothing to complain about with this Denon. Setup is easy. With built-in preamp, it can be used with anything. Turn the preamp on and use with powered speakers, sound bar, or home theater receiver. Turn off preamp to use with components that have their own phono preamp built-in. Put a record on, push start, and go. Unit automatically returns arm to rest, and shuts off at the end of a record. Or just hit "stop" if you're done listening at any point. Can't be any easier than that. I had no complaints about the sound. It is not a Linn Sondeck, and I didn't expect it to sound like one. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good it DID sound. Nice full, clean sound. I would advise this unit for anyone not in the market for an expensive turntable, or wants to avoid the cheap record players. Definitely a decent value.

I use this with some nice powered computer speakers, I don't have space for a full on stereo consol. The RIAA preamp brings up the signal to line level with proper EQ curve to plug into anything and sound great ( regular phono output cannot do this . It's fun going through all the crates of old records, great sound, ultra compact setup

The DP-29F includes a built-in RIAA phono equalizer to hook it up to your system through a standard analog connection. The DP-29F has been precision manufactured with rigid diecast aluminum to produce uniform inertial mass for perfectly stable turntable rotation, an essential component of high fidelity sound during playback. The turntable employs an automated system that starts playing the record with the single touch of a button and finishes play at the end of the record by returning the tone arm to its original position and stopping turntable rotation. This system ensures that you do not inadvertently scratch your records when you play them. There is also a manual lifter mechanism that allows you to place the needle on the record wherever you want, so you can skip to a song in the middle of a side.
The DP-29F includes a built-in phono equalizer to connect the unit to an integrated amp that does not have its own equalizer. This turntable is powered by a DC servo motor and belt drive system and operated at the 33 1/3 or 45 rpm speed. It comes with an MM cartridge so that you can begin to enjoy your analog record collection as soon as you connect the DP-29F to your home hi-fi system.
