The Convergent Design nanoFlash Bundle for Panasonic AG-AF100 & AG-3DA1 Camcorder consists of a nanoFlash recorder/player, Hotshoe Ball Mount, Battery Pouch, Battery Holder, Two 2-Cell Lithium-Ion batteries, Battery Charger, 18" (45.7 cm) SDI Cable, 3' (91.4 cm) HDMI Cable, AC Power Supply and a USB 2.0 CompactFlash Card Reader. Employing the high-quality Sony 4:2:2 MPEG2 compression codec, the nanoFlash records video, audio and timecode from an HD-SDI stream onto CompactFlash (CF) cards.
Based on the Flash XDR design, the nanoFlash recorder features 2 CF card slots plus embedded audio support (2 channels). The nanoFlash recorder can record MPEG2 audio/video using Long-GOP or Intraframe recording in Quicktime format for Final Cut Pro, MXF for Avid, Sony Vegas and Edius non-linear editors. This enables the users to select the image quality, file size, file type and maximum recording duration. In addition, the recorder supports video format ranging from 720 x 576 @ 25 Hz to 1920 x 1080i @ 60, 59.94, 50 Hz.
The nanoFlash, which is a recorder and player, features HD-SDI I/O, HDMI I/O, LTC in, wired remote control and a power/start/tally light connector. In addition, the nanoFlash recorder can be powered from a camcorder battery (6.5 - 20 VDC) or the included AC power supply. Using the hotshoe ball mount, you can mount the nanoFlash on top of your camcorder.
