Came with a platic wrap like a kitchen knife. The knife itself wasn't shaving sharp out of the box. The knife has a hefty weight to it as well the right texture and ergonomics grip. No knife wobble whatsoever. Don't have much to complain except for sharpness out of the box.

I picked this knife because the plastic handles do not set off scanner no more tha. A belt buckle. The knife locks open with 2 locks.

Got my first one a few years back as a Christmas gift and have to admit that I really liked it better than some of the knives that I have that cost a lot more...Someone liked it also and it disappeared at work....Bought a second one and carried it for about 18 months and the belt clip came loose and fell off.... From previous experience with other clip knives I should have used some loctite...Emailed Coast about it and they bent over backwards to take care of it,,,I highly recommend it...just be sure to use a little loctite..

I think that it is a very useful knife it can cut pretty good and the glass breaker can dent wood very good. over all I think that it is a good knife.
