This is my second purhase for this strap. I use the Spider holster and this works great giving an extra layer of protection.

I purchased this for my uncle for Christmas and he loved it! Personally I’m jealous now because it’s better than the one I have. I’ll be ordering it for myself soon.

Does what it shows in the photos. The only thing that would make this better is if I could use it along with my fluid head monopod but that would be impossible due to the design. Not a flaw, just a personal note.

I like using a wrist strap and this strap is very secure and doesn't block the battery door or prevent me from flipping up the LCD screen on my camera. It doesn't allow me to attach a tripod plate and the strap must be removed to attach the camera to a tripod. This is inconvenient and strap often flaps in the wind when the camera is attached to a tripod. A hole for mounting a tripod plate would greatly improve this wrist strap.

I hate a dangling camera strap and always fear losing grip of my camera when on rough terrain. This strap give me security without being restrictive. I find that keeping it too tight causes irritation after carrying the camera all day. I keep mine snug, but not tight, and it has worked well for me. Not fond of having to remove the thumbnut to attach a tripod but that is the price I pay to eliminate the dangling strap alternative.

Easy to put on, gives a sold feel that it is holding on with out slipping out of hand. takes a little effort to get hand in side of grip but then it locks around hand.

Great strap helps the camera feel more secure in hand. I don't like neck straps. The only citique would be the screw that attaches to the bottom is a bit bulky.

I like the idea of holding a camera without a neck/shoulder strap, and this product is great for that! However, I don't like the fact that the camera cannot sit flat any longer, because the screw for the bottom part of the strap uses the tripod screw on the bottom of the camera - and there's no other place to fasten it, obviously. SO my "Con" really does not reflect on this particular product but on ALL handstraps. I guess it's a tradeoff - do you want the convenience of holding your camera with a handstrap, or do you need to sit the camera flat?
